4 Dark Feminine Tips for Election Day

Let’s come home to the present moment.

I know tensions are running high…

But what’s happening in your body right now?

Where is your breath? How does your body rise and fall? What do you hear? What do you smell?

What do you feel? Scan your body to notice her sensations… Are you feeling tension? Take a moment to place your hands there and say “I’m here”.

Senses help to bring you home. To your body. To the present moment.

And today is quite a present moment.

Definitely for those of us in the US with this election. And I know many of you around the world are feeling it with us too.

The Unknown. The Great Mystery. The Chaos. The High Emotions. The Dark Shadows.

All of these are realms of the Dark Feminine.

So today I wanted to share some of my favorite potent life skills on how to work with the Dark Feminine.

Because no matter what happens in this election… The world is more divided than ever.

Which means us women leaders will still have some serious work to do.

Let’s start today by taking a step closer to the Dark Feminine to learn how to work with Her to stay centered during intense times…

4 Dark Feminine Tips for Election Day

1. SAY YES TO IT ALL

The Dark Feminine seduces you to fall in love with ALL of life. The only way you get free is to embrace both its highs AND lows to ‘get off’ on it all. So whatever happens today, do not resist reality. Breathe with it all. Dance with it all. Surrender to it all. And from there decide how YOU want to respond to whatever happens moving forward.

WISDOM: They say to see everything as a gift. A mentor of mine used to say “reality is your tantric consort here to fuck you open wider”. See if you can get curious and wonder how this exact moment is a gift to you.

TIP: Literally say YES as a mantra all day, combined with simple gentle movement like seaweed in the ocean. May sound crazy but it will profoundly help your mental health to not resist reality by bracing with a no. And instead, say yes by moving with reality instead.

2. FEEL YOUR EMOTIONS

The Dark Feminine teaches you how to feel big emotions so you don’t suppress the power of your E-nergy in MOTION. You are an emotional creature as a woman and this is part of your power.

WISDOM: Know your emotions have a beginning, middle, and end… And true health comes when you allow them to complete their entire cycle so your body doesn’t have to carry half-digested emotions.

TIP: Create a Feeling Practice for yourself today so you can feeeeelllll everything and not suppress. Music is a great way to access emotions. Notice the feeling tone of what you may be feeling and then find music to match it so you can listen, move, and FEEL.

3. FEED YOUR NERVOUS SYSTEM

The Dark Feminine wants you to make your body your best friend because she is your partner for life. And much of your health comes from the health of your nervous system. Anxiety, depression, and fatigue all have origins in the nervous system.

WISDOM: You need a healthy nervous system to be able to house all your Raw Feminine Power. So learn how to tend and feed your own nervous system today, and every day.

TIP: Tone Your Vagus Nerve. Here is a special training that is part of my Dark Feminine Experience for Women Leaders I wanted to share with you super simple ways to tune this crucial nerve in your body affecting all parts of your nervous system. These exercises that take mere minutes have been life-changing for me.

4. WELCOME YOUR SHADOW

The Dark Feminine invites you to love your darkness including your Shadow to be whole. So much of the divisiveness in the world right now is due to the projection of Shadow onto others. Break the spell by deep diving into your Shadow work with the Dark Feminine.

WISDOM: Whatever you’ve disowned is in your unconscious and rules you. Because you are a whole person, if you can’t relate to all of your parts consciously then you will unconsciously project those disowned parts onto others to relate with them that way. The way to get free is to bring your disowned parts out into the light to love them. But first, you must go in your dark to reclaim them.

TIP: Think of someone you judge. Isolate the quality you judge about them the most and then ask yourself what it tells you about your Shadow. Have you ever been in a situation where you may have exemplified a similar quality? Humbling, I know. But ultimately some of the best activism you can do for the world right now.
